OMG, it's been a whole year! There's a reason for this.....

because I forgot our password for the blog! But now? We have a new one, so we can write again. BTW, you can always catch me on Facebook!

Well, for an update, we have been in Norway (near Oslo) for almost a whole year. That's right. We've had our ups and downs, but we are still truckin' along. Roy has settled down in his job and is doing really well in it and has started to take courses at a university/college to further his education in Survey Engineering. Me and the kids are SUPER proud of him! He's such an inspiration to us and to others!

Me? Well, I'm keeping the homestead up and running and keeping everybody fed, clothed, washed up, picked up and you name it. I do not work any longer, which is fine with me. After working 20 plus years for the government, it's time! For those who don't know, I needed to make a LIFE change. (not a career change) I was literally following down the way of my mom.....the stress, the working long hours, keeping up house, kids, you name it.....my doctor said I had either better get my "affairs" in order, or do something with my life. So we (Roy and I) decided to move back to Norway. Still a diabetic, unfortunately, but I'm healthier and more relaxed than ever before! I LOVE PEACE AND QUIET TOO! I've lost over 25 pounds and soon to be losing more once the snow GOES AWAY and it gets warmer. I hope to start taking Norwegian classes soon. I can understand alot of Norwegian, but speaking it, well, it's a little harder......
