We are now less than an hour from leaving for China and the next post will be from there. Look in the archive for our itinerary and all the fun stuff we are going to do. Pray for our safe trip please.
Det er nå under en time til vi går ut av døra for å reise til Kina og neste innlegg vil komme derfra. Se i arkivet for å finne reiseruta og alt det andre morsomme vi skal gjøre. Vær snill og be om en trygg reise for oss.

And they're off!!!
(Roy said I could email to the blog, but I haven't figured out how, so this comment will have to do)
Left the Iversen family at the airport at 7am this morning and they were as ready as you can possibly be!!
As they were checking in, Miss Rebecca was looking as cute as one can be (esp. at 5am) in the backseat of her double stroller, with her Dora the Explorer backpack keeping Matthew's seat warm for him. One of the United ladies came strolling by and said how much Rebecca looked just like the Dora on the backpack and of course the conversation got started about how she was going to China today to bring home her baby
brudder, and by now, all the ladies were in the conversation and she was pleased as punch to be the center of attention (poor kid... has no clue how that's about to change :).
Next thing I know, they're done checking in and we're walking away from the counter to say our goodbye's and one of the ladies says to me, "Would you like to go thru security and to the gate with them?"... to which, I of course said, "Oh can I?" She asked if I was carrying
anything (just my id and my camera), and asked for my id, and in about 60 seconds, I had a Security Checkpoint Pass in hand and sailed thru security like nothing to it (I'd never even heard of this).
So, we got to have McDonald's breakfast and a few minutes to relax together before we prayed and parted. They probably had just a few more minutes left before getting ready to board, and I headed to work. As I was driving down the road, I noticed the clock and their take-off was in just 3 minutes, so I prayed again and as best I know, they're
off to the wild blue yonder.
I got some pretty good pictures that I posted - check the album called Take Off. *** Note, these pics are on the yahoo group, not on this blog ***
Know that they appreciate your prayers over the next two weeks, and I'd guess especially over the next two days.
Tender blessings,
Toni Benton
The pictures at the airport are awesome. Thanks Toni for giving us a glimpse. Iverson Family you are in our prayers and we love you. Welcome to the family Matthew!
